I believe it is lucky to have people in your life who love you unconditionally, not expecting any favours in return, not calculating the amount of care you get back, not worried whether the other person love you the same way. In this world, where even parent’s love for their children is conditional it’s difficult to expect anyone else will do that.
When I scroll through the news headlines about mass killings, terrorism, religious riots, I wonder where humanity vanished. Is there still kindness, compassion and love in this world?
Looking at these monkeys I realised love and affection has not died totally. You can still feel it around you. Why dont humans learn from these animals. Are they portraying an example in front of us? To live a better life? To keep aside your negative human traits of jealousy, ego, anger, frustration and be happy?
I have been watching what they are doing for a while. Both of them have their babies clinging on to them. They were picking lice from each other, pampering and patting the other one’s baby. They were sitting there showering love on each other. This was an interesting sight which was actually an eye-opener too for me. They are just two she-monkeys. Still the care they show, how they pamper the other one’s baby is something we should learn from them.
When days are dark and cruel
Shadows dancing around us
Threatening to take our life
We hold on to each other
Our love brings rays of light
To brighten the darkest tunnel
Shove away evils around us
Unveiling the beauty of heart…

Humans have become inhumane.

That’s really sweet. I think a majority of people are still loving and caring – there are just some really bad ones out there unfortunately.

In tough times like this, I think we have to remember that need for all of us to have kindness. In remembrance, perhaps we can be the spark for someone else to do the same. There are people out there who care – I see it. Problem is, sometimes their voices aren’t as loud as those who don’t value it.

Well said! What I feel is their voice is getting drowned in the roar of the unkind crowd.

True. Just remember, it’s not how loud your voice is, but how correct it is π I have hope things will turn around.

Such a nice subject. But u kinda answer ur question on ur own: when even parents calculate the amount of love a child shud recieve then yes humanity has become devoid of unconditional love. As always love ur writing:)
